Laundry Room Reveal

You guys! This transformation is so amazing we just had to share it with you! We took this unorganized space and turned into a fresh, crisp room that our client can't wait to show her friends and family. Let's take a closer look.

Most of us have a basic laundry room or laundry closet, but our client needed something a little bit more than basic. So, we put a plan together and got to work.

First we removed the standard shelf and then painted the walls a bright light gray. We then installed thin plywood planks to mimic the look of shiplap and a wooden counter top above the washer and dryer. Next, we painted a set of unfinished upper cabinets a smoky blue color and then added a shelf and a closet rod between the two cabinets.

Next, we painted the shiplap and counter top a coordinating white and added a glass apothocary jar filled with powdered laundry soap, a basket to hold the dryer sheets, a coordinating frame and a beautiful live fern. Between the washer and dryer we placed a basket for soiled linens or dirty clothes.

On the opposite wall, we installed shiplap and added coat hooks for the family.

This transformation was huge and makes such a difference. We hope you love it just as much as we do!

  1. Pretty! And I love appt to hang shirts! I hate/don't iron so to be able to hang them up right out of the dryer would be great!!
